User Interface Designer

Note: Although this is a remote position, we are only seeking candidates in European/African timezones between UTC-1 and UTC+3 to facilitate overlap of working hours.

At PSP Media we develop cloud-based software solutions for the sports industry, enabling clubs and associations to bring their coaching education and administration online. We are soon launching, our B2C platform for sports coaches of all levels anywhere in the world, helping them to improve their coaching by giving them access to high-quality coaching content across all their devices.

As a User Interface Designer you are responsible for the look and feel as well as the overall user experience of our applications across different devices. You understand it to transform complex business requirements into self-explaining and visually stunning interfaces. You have a keen eye for detail and take pride to deliver impeccable wireframes and mockups with all details needed by our Frontend developers to bring them to life.


  • Full responsibility for the overall visual identity of all our B2B and B2C offerings, serving hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.

  • Understand complex business requirements and transform your ideas into wireframes to present them to the stakeholders.

  • Create visually stunning interfaces while also having an understanding for the technical complexity of the actual implementation of any ideas and taking this into account.

  • Work closely with our frontend team to assist in the actual implementation of any designs by providing them with accurate specifications, style guides and any required assets.

  • Track and analyse user behaviour and autonomously suggest and implement split tests to improve conversions in existing and new functionality.

The budgeted compensation range for this role is €35,000 to €45,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be based on relative experience and skills, location and employment type. At this time we are only able to provide official employment status to those located in Malta. All other team members will join as full-time consultants and will be responsible for paying any taxes or applicable fees where they reside.


Minimum qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of Sketch, Invision Studio, Adobe Illustrator and/or comparable tools.

  • 3+ years experience in designing responsive user interfaces for feature-rich web and mobile applications.

  • A solid understanding of HTML and CSS.

  • Experience using tools such as Invision and Zeplin for prototyping, collaboration and feedback cycles as well as handoff.

  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with motion design and interface animation.

  • Experience with tracking and analysis of user flows using tools such as Hotjar.

  • Experience with implementation of split tests and analysis of its results.
